Cookie Statement

Which cookies ZoraMatch sets, what they do, and why we do not need a consent banner.

Last updated 14 July 2026

1. Our approach

ZoraMatch uses the smallest possible set of cookies. We set only cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service or that remember a functional preference you made. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, social-media pixels, or any cookie that profiles you.

2. Cookie inventory

CookiePurposeCategoryRetention
sb-*-auth-token (Supabase Auth)Keeps you signed in and secures your sessionStrictly necessarySession / until sign-out
admin_sessionSecures the internal admin backoffice (staff only)Strictly necessarySession

3. Analytics without cookies

We measure aggregate product usage with a privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics tool that is cookieless: it stores no cookie on your device and does not build a cross-site profile of you. Because it neither reads from nor writes to your device beyond what is technically required, it does not trigger a consent requirement.

4. Why there is no consent banner

Under the EU ePrivacy rules as implemented in the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet (Art. 11.7a), consent is not required for cookies that are:

  • strictly necessary to deliver a service the user explicitly requested (our auth cookies); or
  • used only to store a functional preference the user set themselves (our language and navigation cookies).

Every cookie we set falls into one of these exempt categories, and our analytics is cookieless. We therefore do not need — and deliberately do not show — a cookie consent banner. Should we ever introduce a cookie outside these categories, we would add a compliant consent mechanism before doing so and update this statement.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in; blocking the functional cookies only resets your language and layout preferences.
